Eric Plemons, Ph.D.

I am an anthropologist who studies the politics and practice of sexual medicine and surgery, mostly in the United States. 

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona, where I direct the concentration in Medical Anthropology, and serve as Co-Chair of the Transgender Studies Research Cluster. 

I am a 2022-23 National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholar.
